Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history by becoming the youngest centurion in men’s Twenty20 cricket during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans. Playing in only his third IPL innings, Suryavanshi scored a blistering 101 runs off just 38 balls, striking 11 sixes and seven fours. His century, reached in just 35 balls, is the second-fastest in IPL history and the fastest by an Indian, surpassing Yusuf Pathan’s 37-ball record from 2010.

Suryavanshi partnered with Yashasvi Jaiswal for a 166-run opening stand that led Rajasthan to chase down a 209-run target in just 15.5 overs, securing an eight-wicket win and ending their five-match losing streak.

Previously, Suryavanshi made headlines as the youngest player to get an IPL contract at age 13 and has already demonstrated remarkable talent with achievements including a Ranji Trophy debut at 12, a century for India’s Under-19 team, and a local triple-century in Bihar.

His fearless batting and rapid rise in cricket have earned widespread praise, including congratulations from former record-holder Yusuf Pathan.
