Cricket Australia has reportedly requested Sri Lanka cricket for an additional ODI match for its upcoming tour to Sri Lanka. Earlier this tour scheduled in January and February 2025 for two Test matches and a one-off ODI. The Test series will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25, with both matches scheduled to take place in Galle. The first Test will run from January 29 to February 2, and the second from February 6 to February 10. The ODI’s will be played on 13th & 15th February in Colombo.
But officially Sri Lanka cricket not announced in it’s any medias. If arrangements are made, both the ODIs are likely to be played at R Premadasa Stadium (Day Matches) as Flood lights have been removed and under renovation at RPS. Earlier the only ODI scheduled to played in MRICS Hambantota.
